Went here for dinner with the girlfriend, enticed by the lovely chap out front – the 15% discount he offered on the food as well as the free post-dinner coffee definitely also helped a bit.
The place is nice and clean and a pleasant stay, the service was quite friendly and ok fast, so ordering took only a few minutes.
The food, however, was unfortunately not quite up to par with the surroundings. My girlfriends Mousakka was a huge portion and actually quite good, however my roast lamb seemed like a piece of freezer meat, dry and stringy. The taste was fine, but could have done with a little garlic. Fries were ok, definitely not the worst we have had down here, and the side of carrots was actually quite nice, tender and not overcooked.
With the rebate, we landed around €25 for food plus one Coke and an Alpha beer, which we found ok.
We will probably be back next year, thanks to the friendly people there.
